Poor manager skills
2/21/22 went to Star 18 in Grand Rapids MI with friend to see ”Dog”. I am a Stubs Premier customer. There was a long line for February customers & none in Premier line. Went in Premier line and waited a good 10 minutes for the one woman selling tickets to notice me. She never made eye contact or said anything to me but continued to wait on the other line. I finally just got in behind the long line, which took forever. When it was my turn to get tickets, I asked her did the theater stop withe the Premier line? She kind of stammered & said she normally yes but she doesn’t normally do the job of selling tickets. I asked if there was a manager & she said she was the manager, no name tag. I was also told there were only a few seats left. Those seats never had people in them through the movie. After the movie, I asked the young man who was then selling tickets, what the woman’s name was who waited on me. Donna is her name. Very poor skills as a manager & should know how to do all jobs in the theater. I joined Stubs Premier si I wouldn’t have to wait in line. Was and am not happy with the experience. AMC shame on you for not training your so-called managers on customer service and not providing services for Premier customers as stated.
