I am so disappointed and angry with this company AVAS Flowers
I was shocked to see a photo of the arrangement I sent my parents. It didn’t come close to size I had chosen. The flower type was correct and the colors were correct in what little amount of flowers the arrangement had in them. The one I ordered contained at least two dozen flowers, while the one I received had a dozen at best. And I upgraded to buy the arrangement that came “as shown”. I paid for mostly greenery. I immediately complained to them and told them how dissatisfied I was. They responded by apologizing and offering to send out another arrangement. I was ok with that. I thought that they would just deliver another one the next day.
However, then they contacted the recipients (my parents) without my knowledge who are both battling Covid. I had made a point of letting them that they were both ill.
They informed my parents that they would be picking up the first arrangement. My father, feeling ill and not wanting to be disturbed told them, “No, it’s ok, we’re satisfied.” My beef is that they had no right to contact my ill parents with that, the transaction was between me and Avas. Shame on them! They then sent me an email saying I would be given a refund of $ 9.00, about 10% of total cost. I’ve tried to contact them again, but their customer service is all through email, with them calling you back, at their discretion. So I’m sure I will get no further satisfaction. Except my dissatisfied review.
