Police officers have been advised to ‘name and shame’ middling sort drug users in stern measures on recreational use.

Priti Patel, the head of the home office, wants police officers to name and shame business owners and affluent users to raise awareness of the dangerous effects of Class A drugs.

Officers have been admonished to concentrate on cocaine use at university precincts. Raids during fresher’s week are well-thought-out to pass the message.

An undisclosed policing source said they had been advised to fish out high-profile individuals to face the law—especially those who see drugs as part of their lifestyle and don’t believe there will be any consequences.

Drug abuse is increasing. In the previous year, 4,561 drug-linked death were documented, the highest score since the records started. Kit Malthouse, a police minister, launched a promotional campaign last week to focus on recreational drug users and reveal the deadly effects of taking drugs.

This news comes amidst widespread alarm regardless of years of intensive law enforcement actions on drugs gang, which trafficks drugs using kids and defenseless adults; the practice is prevalent.

Crack and heroin are the two powerful drugs associated with drug-related violence--including youth murder—in country lines.

Prior to this, West Midlands Police cautioned that middling sort users are promoting the usage of drugs. Drug lines showed that healthcare professionals are not exempted from this evil practice.

The police warned that cocaine users were allowing the abuse of children. These kids are sometimes demoralized by country lines gangs. Last month, the government promised to shed light on recreational drug use.  Recreational drugs usage is causing damage, including overdoses and a decline in mental health.

A home office source did not buy the idea that the elite class promoted drug misuse. They believe that drug abuse is prevalent from middle-class workers to students.

The source stated that the perpetrators’ belief that they will never get punished is one of the problems. He further said that they feel there is no way the police will chase them. The source added that they would do everything possible to ensure that culprits will be punished and others will comprehend it. The source revealed that there would be a high-profile arrest.

However, some senior officers suggested focusing on the drug gangs and cutting off their distribution channels.

The home office is arranging to organize a conference that will unite schools, colleges, universities, police officers, district attorneys, and healthcare workers to reduce drug dependence among recreational users.

This will benefit youth’s misconceptions about drug use.
