Fraudulent company that steals its customers funds
Take a look at TrustPilot for the experiences customers are having of being scammed. Like so many others there I had bad experiences of not being able to access support or get my money out. When I complained, Bunq blocked my account.
It was my only bank account in the country and I was screwed with no way to pay for daily expenses or rent. There’s no phone number and no customer service offices. I went to their developer offices (they’re in Sloterdijk) and knocked on the door. Those inside ignored me for 30 minutes until I caught someone going to lunch. I told her that either they could unblock my account and approve the transfer of my funds out or I would go immediately to the police and return with police officers.
They reluctantly agreed, unblocked my account and approved the transfer of my funds out into a new account I had opened at ABN AMRO. My life would have been so screwed if I hadn’t done that.
I have since learned that the CEO and owner, Ali Niknam, has a reputation in Amsterdam (just visit glassdoor.com for what his employees have to say about him). So relieved that I escaped this scamming fraudulent company.
