Scary… A must read
February 25th I was so excited to buy my Jeep, as my last Jeep didn’t end too well, because it decided to stop starting after only 86k miles… Jeep did not do anything to help me, and I was at a loss for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo…
Coming to Carhop made me feel like I had another chance at getting another car, and to add, it was a JEEP! All black tinted widows! I was in love! The down payment was affordable, the process was easy just like the approval.
-After purchasing my 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport, I left a review for CarHop. Google reached out to me about my review as well.
Upon having the car for less than a week the check engine light came on, along with the Jeep’s overheating light came on… and the engine was sluggish, no speed, crazy noises…
I immediately called Carhop in National City, CA which is where I purchased the car… and was told by my the sales rep that sold me the vehicle that she would get me the contact information I need to get the vehicle serviced at one of the locations… she hung up, never called or text back… that was the last time I heard from her, as when I tried to call several times I was re-routed to recordings… I was stuck, stranded, and felt unheard.. I felt like no one cared anymore, my purchase has now turned into a nightmare, and now I’m stuck.
After more attempts I was still unsuccessful to reach anyone concerning fixing the vehicle.
I am a single mom… I don’t have the opportunity to get a car fixed that I just purchased days ago, so I was forced to use a vehicle that was faulty at sale, I was mislead on the issues with the vehicle, and then got the run around with the servicing options.
-Upon the point of sale I was given 2 options for insurance immediately, and the insurance company was amazing… except the options offered to help me with Roadside assistance wasn’t offered… which is odd because all of my problems have been roadside issues that POPPED UP AS I AM DRIVING!!!! With my 8 year old son!
The issues with this Jeep is against the law to be sold!!!
I was pulled over by a cop for tinted windows I was told was legal to have upon purchase! I came outside after being at Target and my back left tire was completely to the ground! So thank you for selling me a BAD TIRE!!!!! Again!!! My child in the car!!! That could’ve happened anytime while we were driving!!!
I came to the point that I would let it sit…. Because I was afraid of driving it…
Today is Mother’s Day… I had plans with my son… and the Jeep’s brakes locked up on me!!!!! MID DRIVING!!!!!!!!! I had to scoot up and forcefully slam the brakes IN ORDER TO STOP!!!!!! WITH MY SON IN THE CAR!!!!
We had to sit with hazards, until AAA came!!! They towed it to the hotel we are staying at… it will not start, it is a lemon, and I was swindled for the sake of fucking money….. I really hope $1200 down, a $7600 Kelly Bluebook value of the Jeep is worth the action that WILL be taken if this is not a 360 turnaround asap!!!!!!!!!
I will disclose my location, to the respondent of the email to where the Jeep will be towed, fixed, COMPLETELY!!!! And a fully paid rental until that Jeep is SAFE TO DRIVE ON THE ROAD!!!!!!!!! This is a disgrace for a company that says they care.
*IMPORTANT….. PLEASE READ*
I have time stamps of all three incidents and also time stamp for the call I made about the issue and was ignored… these happenings are time frames that a vehicle should NEVER EXPERIENCE THESE ISSUES!!! Unless you practice purposely killing someone with your vehicles I suggest you change the habits of how you guys are getting the vehicles on your lot!
If this is not addressed within the next 2 hours, I will be posting this on the Google site as a review. And contacting my LAWYER!!!!! I’ve wasted enough time already, so I will not waste anymore on CarHop. DO THE RIGHT THING!!!!!!!
