Should be responsible for their actions
Short version:
Colonial Mortgage, Property loss department sent me a check that bounced. Deposited it into my bank which was returned along with associated returned check fees. Property loss department finally admitted to the error and sent me a corrected check that was valid. But refuses to reimburse me for the returned check fees. Recognizes the fee, understands the fee, agrees that the fee was due to errors made by them but refuses to reimburse or help me to understand why.
I’ve talked to 14 staff members including supervisors and managers. I’ve logged over 11 hours of phone time concerning this issue.
