Totally a Scam Company
After reading so many positive reviews about the Penny Clicks Academy I thought I should give it a try. But those guys overcharged me. I had paid for the product through my credit card and I got a notification that they deducted double the amount that they were supposed to charge me. They were supposed to charge me around $47 but they charged me $100.
When I contacted their customer support, I didn’t get any response for a week. And when I finally received something, it was just an automated response with no acknowledgement to my complaint. So, I sent them another email, to which they replied by saying that they will look into the matter and resolve the issue as soon as possible. I didn’t start the course because I was afraid they might not issue my refund. They wasted another week this way. When I asked them about the refund, they told me that they haven’t found any error of this sort.
I sent them the receipt and the total payment I had made. They weren’t replying still, so I told them that I will write a complaint about them and their response came very promptly. They told me that they will issue my refund of $43 as soon as possible. I waited for 2-3 days but when that didn’t happen, I asked them about it again.
I had already waited for 2-3 weeks by now and I was getting impatient. Who wastes a month in processing a simple refund? They didn’t even apologize to me for this delay or their overcharge.
I sent them another email asking them for an update on the situation. They told me that they were still processing the transaction. Again, how long does it take a person to pay 43 bucks to someone? They had processed my purchase very quickly but they couldn’t do that with my refund.
Clearly, these people were testing my patience. Then one day I received an email from Penny Clicks Academy, telling me that they had cancelled my subscription. I was furious. I contacted those guys and asked them about my refund. They told me that they were still in the process of releasing it. When I asked them about my subscription, they told me that they believed because I had asked for a refund, I must’ve unsubscribed for it as well. They did it out of spite, I’m sure of it.
They still haven’t issued my refund or restarted my subscription.
