CenturyLink Review: Buyer Beware!

Like others, I have had issues with incorrect billing charges (such as being charged for leasing a modem when I owned it, not receiving the credit for auto-pay as promised, not being charged for the rate promised) and the occasional disruption of service. The issue I have now is that I am unable to create my own user name and password for the modem after I had to reset it when I had no service. Tech support is of no help.

I have found that you need to closely examine your bill each month for accuracy, and then be prepared to allow at least one hour to call customer service to get it straightened out. Then they will promise you a credit or that it will be fixed the next month, but it usually is only corrected for one month or so and then other charges are added. Who has time for this?

Very unethical that they say one thing and then don’t follow through on their policies."
