Vanished Without a Trace
I won a pair of vintage Bang & Olufsen speakers with stands, paid for the items as soon as the auction was over. Days passed, no shipping update from Shopgoodwill and when I inquired when the items I bought will be shipped to me, I got nothing. The speakers I bought and paid mysteriously vanished into thin air with no explanation what happened to my items. I demanded a full refund which they did but what is the point of having an auction if the items don’t even exist. There should be a law against this trickery from Shopgoodwill. It is either they shipped the items to another customer (who is not obliged to make a return and ended up with a pair of nice speakers) or someone got greedy at Shopgoodwill and resold the items I bought for a lot more than the amount I paid in the auction.
Another experience I had was they sent a clock with a wood case that was damaged due to Shopgoodwill’s faulty packing. So much for paid “handling fee”, what I got was a clock with very minimal wrapping to protect the item from getting damaged. Shopgoodwill assured me that I will get some kind of compensation for the damaged item. I found out later from FedEx when I inquired if I could file for a damage claim that shopgoodwill has filed a claim that the item was lost in transit. Shopgoodwill was only willing to offer a partial refund but I demanded a full amount refund when I also found out from FedEx that Shopgoodwill was paid for the full amount for their false claim with FedEx.
