Do not use SimpleBills. I had to sign an agreement to use them when I signed my lease for a single-family residence. I was called by a SimpleBills rep where I had to give my credit card for the $20 set up fee. I had not finished my online set up because I would be moving across the country. They continued to email me notices to finish my online registration and provide a second method of payment. I messaged the company advising I would not be providing a second method of payment. I received a response informing me that one method would be ok. Well. I could not proceed through their online set up until I entered a 2nd payment method. I never completed registration and had seen any terms or conditions. After moving I could not set up a new bank account without a state driver license. So I had to wait until an appt was available. Since then I received an email advising my payment was late and the next day that my payment was made using my credit card. This company is so unethical they withdrew my card without my registration agreeing to terms I never saw, nor signed or esigned an automatic withdraw. Also, if I had agreed, how the hell is my payment late since they claim they had authorization. I filed a complaint with BBB, which us still active. Seems nothing gets done with BBB based on the ongoing pattern of complaints. It’s time to blast social media, business pages in areas they conduct business, etc.
